Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Designing and developing highly robust and scalable applications in a large-scale distributed system environment
2. Translating business requirements into system design and applying a deep understanding of object-oriented design principles in creating custom software solutions
3. Offering creative alternatives to business design wherever appropriate
4. Working on projects including identification and management of dependencies across other modules and planning projects for mid-level complexity, including scope management, estimation, issue tracking, and risk escalation
5. Taking ownership of key software modules, which would involve product enhancements and maintenance of existing functionality
6. Working on fixing debugging and associated issues effectively in a time-critical atmosphere
