Job Title: Software Engineer/Computer Science Internship
Averoft, Bhopal is seeking candidates for 2017 Software Engineer Internship.
We are looking for a Software Engineer/Computer Science intern with experience in software design, coding and debugging. This knowledge is essential for all applicants. Experience gained in the classroom and through personal application will be accepted. You’ll help us build new products, new features for existing products, web apps, dashboards and internal tools for all Averofteers. You will work closely with other teams within Tech including Product, Design, and Infrastructure to deliver products and content that help connect people all over the world!

Required Skills:
- Software QA Testing
- Responsible for testing their own code to ensure that it is performing as expected in regards to correctness and performance.
- Keeps track of bugs in their code, and fixes bugs in a timely manner.
- Operational Planning and Execution
- Manages programming tasks and works on them in priority order as determined by their manager.
- Participates in the planning and scheduling of tasks, and responsible for meeting deadlines as determined jointly with their manager.
- Puts comments in code as appropriate, and produces external documentation for more complex software components.
- Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Software Infrastructure Development
- Gather requirements to design and plan software solutions.
- Implement software solutions by writing code in a matter consistent with company’s coding standards and guidelines.
Required Experience:
- Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Recent Graduates are also applicable
- Minimum 1 year of programming experience (personal, educational, or commercial)
- Some Experience with .NET and C#.
- Knowledge of general programming techniques
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming.
- Knowledge of web based development (desired, not mandatory)
- Ability to work independently, or as part of a team.
- Able to debug own code
- Comfortable with Unix and Windows operating systems.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical issues to laymen and to translate their feedback.
- The desire to work on a diverse range of challenging projects.
- Solid understanding of the software development life cycle
