Job Description
For Software Engineer–UI/UX Development:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent is required.
- Knowledge of in Java/JavaScript development with good OO concepts, design Patterns, vertical slicing development, including early stage/new product conceptualization.
- Knowledge of JavaScript.
- Experience using modern, open source JavaScript frameworks to develop commercial Web applications.
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and Java script languages such as Angular.js, JQuery, and Bootstrap is must.
- Comfortable in using modern JavaScript tooling (Bower, NPM, Grunt, Karma, Node.js, git etc.).
- Knowledge of in Core Java, J2EE, Junit, SQL, Maven, Ant, Jenkins Development with any application server like JBOSS, No, Tomcat, Node.js. Preferably Node.js.
- Knowledge of building scalable and sustainable, commercial Web applications.
- Strong knowledge of Web 2.0 technologies using Java Script/AJAX.
- A broad understanding of web/mobile UI standards, grid system, responsive design frameworks, usability, and have design/developed user interfaces for web/mobile applications.
- Experience working with big data is a major plus. Preferably Cassandra, Elastic search, Mongo DB.
- Appreciation for code reviews, software unit tests, continuous integration and automation.
- Strong team player in an agile development environment.
- Self-driven, with a desire to rise to the challenge in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent trouble shooting and data analysis skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
