Job Description

FactSet is looking for a talented S oftware E ngineer to join our Application Infrastructure group , Team Zenith . T eam Zenith is our Search Utilities and File Utilities team focused on building applications and services that allow our clients to quickly and efficiently find data and files on our platform. As part of this team, you will develop the tools to enable our clients to use our products more efficiently , as well as create better, more empowered users of all FactSet products.

Some of the projects that this team work s on to achieve th ese goal s are:

Quick answers to common client questions

Advanced utilities to help clients locate company identifiers

In This Role You Will

Use a variety of technologies such as Angular .js, TypeScript , C#
Collaborate with our product team to identify and implement solutions that bring direct value to our clients as well as with your peers

Partner with your peers and stakeholders to ensure software delivered is of the high est quality
Learn and follow Agile Software Development principles
Gain broader proficiency for the product and demonstrate ability to contribute to forward direction

Additionally, as part of the FactSet Engineering community , over time you will find opportunities to have broad impact across the department. For example, you may become a member of our Web Guidance Group, Architecture Review Board , or contribute to other cross team initiatives.

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field or equivalent experience
1 year of experience working professionally as a Software Developer building web applications or services

Experience using JavaScript , C# , HTML, CSS
Ability to communicate effectively with peers within the organization
Ability to contribute to code review feedback for other engineers and contribute to forward design ideas
