Job Description

Software Engineer/ Technical Lead (PERL) (Total Open Positions: 2)

Location: Pune

Essential Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Work closely with the Technical Manager/Architect/Lead for software definition, implementation, reviews and testing.
Interact with technical teams of clients for discussions on software requirements and design.
Work with a team of co-developers and testers towards common project goals.

Desired Skills & Experience:

Candidate must have strong Storage background with 3 to 8 years of experience in one or more of SAN, NAS, Block level protocols (SCSI, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, Fibre Channel over Ethernet), File level protocols (NFS, CIFS), Replication, High Availability, Data Deduplication, Backup/Restore, NDMP, Virtualization.
Must have strong system programming skills in Object Oriented Perl.
Must have hands-on experience on Linux OS and expertise on testing kernel level modules.
Must have good understanding of OS internals including multithreading, RPC, socket programming.
Must have strong problem solving skills.
Must have experience with any Source code control system and Defect Tracking system.
Qualification required: B.E/B.Tech/MCA.
