Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IIT Gandhinagar) invites application for the position Software Tester
Vacancies: 4
Tenure: Two Years, extendible commensurate upon performance evaluation after 1 year
Monthly Consolidated Pay: INR. 32,000/- per month
Accommodation: Shared hostel accommodation in IITGN Campus at INR 3,500/- per month on payment basis.
Description: Minimum Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization or MCA with a minimum of 60% marks.
Eligibility:
a. Degree completion in 2019 or after. Students in the last year of the degree course are eligible.
b. Proven knowledge in testing solutions in C#, .NET, PHP, ASP.net, SQL, CMS, HTML, JS and JQUERY.
c. Knowledge of testing automation tools like Selenium, Robotium, and Jmeter would be an added advantage.
d. Experience in database testing and mobile testing will be an advantage.
e. Should be well versed with OOPS development, Unit testing,
f. Deployment using LAMP/WAMP and related technologies, tools and best practices.
g. Knowledge and experience of GIT/SVN.
h. Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Understand and analyze functional and non-functional system requirements.
2. Develop, execute and manage Test Plan and Test Cases. Perform required monitoring & reporting on test execution.
3. Work with cross-functional teams to help identify, triage, and document issues.
4. Lead functional, performance, and security-related testing activities
