Cerner is excited to hire a Solution Designer. As a Solution Designer you will take the lead of scrum teams as the Product Owner and collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of a product. In this role you will works with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design/user experience, engineering, and user enablement. This role requires you to translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria. As a Solution Designer, you will provide vision and direction to the agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements, and also ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on. In this role you will plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product along with assessing value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy. As a Solution Designer you will develop appropriately-detailed specifications for the product features so they are clearly understood by the development teams and participate in iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories. Additionally, you will provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals and keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends.
