Job Description

Position Overview

We are building a team of highly skilled engineers for Solution Testing in Pune who are passionate about product quality. This team will be responsible for end to end customer use case testing for large-scale distributed deployments of product. The environment offers plenty of technological challenges and opportunities to learn and grow in a high collaborative environment. The engineers will create customer-like test environments and validate multiple customer use cases in the same.

Responsibilities

Understand key customer deployment models of the product by collaborating with customer facing teams and create a test plan to validate the product quality
Analyse customer found issues, understand key customer configurations and derive reference deployment models and configurations for solutions testing
Execute multiple types of tests like functional, longevity, performance and reliability as part of solution test
Test to identify system weakness to make sure product is robust and reliable against stress, resource limitations and boundary conditions
Monitor and report any performance or reliability issues observed in the test environments
Automate the test scenarios using Python and tools like Robot Framework or Selenium
Continually improve and enhance the customer use case test plans

Requirements

Sound understanding of designing and executing complex solution testing for large-scale enterprise-class products in a distributed/clustered environment
Rich experience of working on complex products based on Linux/Unix environments as well as Docker
Experience of testing SaaS based products in GCP/AWS handling large volumes of data
In-depth experience of longevity and performance tests using tools like Jmeter
Experience of using open source tools and frameworks for test automation like Robot Framework, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNg
Excellent communication skills
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed institute
Experience of 5 to 9 years in system testing mainly focused on non-functional aspects

Desirable

Knowledge of Kafka streaming platform and ELK stack
Understanding of HDFS and NoSQL databases like MongoDB
Experience of using Python or Java to implement highly efficient reusable, maintainable and scalable test automation
Experience of running automated test suites in CI/CD environments using Jenkins pipelines
Experience of working in Agile methodology
