We have Urgent Requirements for a “SQL DBA” at Chennai location. Please find the Job Description below. 

  
Position: SQL DBA 

Notice Period: 15 to 30 days 
Location: Velacherry, Chennai 

Male Candidates Only

Experience : 1 – 2 years

 Job Description 

●Experience in Database Administration in SQL Server (2008 and 2012) 

●Strong working knowledge of backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, DBCC commands. 

●Experience in creating indexes, index management, Statistics management, integrity checks, configuration, patching. 

●Strong knowledge in Database Replication ,Log shipping ,Mirroring ,Clustering and Always on 

Availability Group. 

●Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc. 

●Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and 

other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools. 

●Experience in SQL Jobs creation , Alerts , Linked server and Security maintenance. 

●Ability to detect and troubleshoot SQL Server related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space and other resource contention. 

●SQL Development – Ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code and design (Stored Procedures, Functions, Tables, Views, 

Triggers, Indexes, Constraints)
