NIMH/PROJ/ICMR/BP/SRF-JRF/NOTIF./2019-20
SRF/JRF Biophysics job opportunities in National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) on Contract basis.
ICMR funded project entitled :“Discover & Development of human Superoxice Dismutase(hSOD1) Modulators by Rational Approach: A Potential Therapeutic Target for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)”
SRF/1 Post
Essential Qualification: Post Graduate in Biophysics/Biotechnology/Life Sciences
Experience : Minimum three years research experience after post-graduation. Applicant should have substantial hands on experience in protein crystallography (from cloning, gene expression, protein purification, protein crystallization, protein structure determination and analysis)/ computational biology (virtual screening, docking and molecular dynamics). Experience in medicinal chemistry is preferable but not mandatory.
Age Limit :33 years
Emoluments: Rs. 28,000/- +30% HRA per month
JRF/1 Post
Essential Qualification : Post Graduate in Biophysics/Biotechnology/Life Sciences
Experience : Applicant should have substantial experience in molecular biology and protein biochemistry involves cloning, protein expression & purification and biochemical studies.
Experience in protein crystallography is preferable but not mandatory. Desirable One or two years research experience in the relevant field
Maximum Age Limit: 28 years
Emoluments: Rs.25,000/- + 30% HRA per month
