Applications are invited from suitable candidates for one position of Senior Research Fellow in an ICMR funded research project entitled "Ascertaining the causes of low tregs in polycystic ovarian syndrome patients" in the Laboratory of Dr. Malini Laloraya at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: The candidate must have a Post Graduate Degree with at least 60% marks in Life Science/ MVSc/Bachelor's Degree in Medicine from a recognized University.
The candidate should have completed at least two years of post MSc or one year of post MBBS/MVSc/MPharm documented research experience.
Candidate should have qualified National Eligibility Test -CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)/ or National Level Examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions viz., DBT-Biotechnology Eligibility Test/ Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology & Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JBEEBILS)/ ICMR Entrance Exam/ Approved DST Inspire Fellowship, etc.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:One publication in SCI Journal.
Experience in blood processing, PBMC isolation, Flourescence-activated cell sorting (FACS, Molecular biology techniques, Real-time PCR, Western Blotting and Statistical analysis.
