Ph.D. in Bioinformatics/ Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Agricultural Statistics/ Statistics/ Computer Science / Computer Application or equivalent. OR Master’s in Bioinformatics/ Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Agricultural Statistics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Computer Application or equivalent with 4 years or 5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least 02 years research experience as evidenced from fellowship/ associateship/ training/ other engagements. Note: For further clarification please refer ANNEXURE.  Knowledge of NGS Data Analysis, Statistical and Computational Genomics/ Bioinformatics.  Knowledge of computer programming, LINUX OS  Expertise in use of R/ other Bioinformatics software.

Senior Research Fellow /07

Master’s in Bioinformatics/ Computer Science/ Computer Application/ Agricultural Statistics/ Statistics or equivalent with 4 years or 5 years of Bachelor’s degree. OR Having 3 year’s Bachelor’s degrees who have acquired professional Master degree (3 years) like MCA are eligible. OR Candidates having Master’s degree in basic sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s Degree should have NET qualification. OR Ph.D. in Bioinformatics/ Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Agricultural Statistics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Computer Application or equivalent Note: For further clarification please refer ANNEXURE.  Knowledge of Statistical and Computational Genomics/ Bioinformatics.  Knowledge of programming in LINUX/ R/ Perl/ JAVA/ PHP/ JSP and use of various software & tools. 

Young Professional-II/03

Graduates with at least 60% marks in Computer Application/ Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Artificial Intelligence/ Operating System/ Software Engineering/ Computer Graphics with oneyear experience in the relevant field. OR Masters in Computer Application/ Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Artificial Intelligence/ Operating Systems/ Software Engineering/ Computer Graphics.  Experience in Web-Site, Portals development and management, content management system with Joomla framework using Linux, Apache, MySQL, etc. based application development. Experience in Java/ C++/ PHP/ PERL/ Python etc. based application development Linux, Apache and MySQL/ Oracle.

EMOLUMENTS:- Research Associate: Consolidated Rs.49,000/- + HRA(as per central govt. norms) per month for Master’s Degree Holder’s & Consolidated Rs.54,000/- + HRA (as per central govt. norms) per month for Ph.D. Holder. Senior Research Fellow: Consolidated Rs.31,000/- + HRA(as per central govt. norms) per month for 1st and 2nd year & Consolidated Rs.35,000/- + HRA (as per central govt. norms) per month from 3rd year. Young Professional-II: Consolidated Rs.35,000/- per month. Age Limit: Research Associate: Age for RA should be not more than 40 years and 45 years for women (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/women candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates) as on the date of the interview. Senior Research Fellow: Age for SRF should be not more than 35 years and 40 years for women (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/women candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates) as on the date of the interview.
