SRF/ Skilled workers Job Opportunity In National Dairy Research Institute on Contractual basis
Project: National Fertilizer Limited Funded Project “Cow Dung Processing and Its Conversion to Bio-fortified Fertilizer: A Pilot Study” underDr. K.P.Ramesha, PI/Head
SRF/01 Post
Qualifications & Experience:Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Soil Science, Agricultural Chemistry,Agricultural Microbiology/Microbiology, Agronomy, Livestock Production Management, with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s Degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years Master’s Degree should have NET Qualifications.
Desirable Qualification: Research Experience in the field of bio-fortified fertilizers, cow dung processing as bio-fertilizer and related aspects
Emoluments: Rs.25,000/-+HRA per month for the first two years and Rs.28,000/- + HRA per month for the third year. HRA will be provided if Govt. accommodation is not provided (as per ICAR guidelines
Duration: 30 months (2018-2021) Or completion of the project whichever is earlier
Skilled workers/02 post
Qualifications & Experience: Matriculation/10+2 with willingness/ experience in handling of animals, cow dung, manure and basic knowledge of computers, data entry with fluency in English, should be ready to travel as per the project requirements, collecting data, samples, sample analysis, data entry, etc. and any other works assigned by the PI.
Desirable: Candidates with qualification in Animal Husbandry/ Agronomy/ Soil Science/ Civil/ Mechanical Engineering and experience of work in production and processing of bio-fertlizers are preferable
Emoluments: Rs.15,000 per month
Duration: 30 months (2018-2021) Or completion of the project whichever is earlier
Age Limit:
1. 35 years for Men and 40 Years for Women in case of SRF on the date of Interview.
2. 18 – 40 years for Men & Women in case of skilled worker on the date of Interview
(Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and PHC as per GOI/ICAR rules).
