Job Description
Educational Qualifications
- Undergraduate or master’s degree (with statistics major) from a top-tier university with a +8.0 CGPA or equivalent
- Degree can be in Statistics, Analytics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics or equivalent
- Outstanding record of academic achievement
- Gather, analyse, and validate data
- Analyse data using a variety of tools, algorithms, and models
- RnD of new analytical models, tools, and techniques.
- Develop appropriate statistical and analytical models
- Generate hidden insights from data and present with effective visualization
- Define, track, and model key variables and metrics, and provide recommendations and strategic direction
- Proficiency in MS-Excel and R is a must. Proficiency in SPSS will be an added plus although not mandatory
- Experience using SQL and VBA
- Develop and maintain programs for the statistical library, including associated documentation
- Review statistical forecast (and other) models
- Proclivity for knowledge management
- Interpret data analysis and produce results and reports for a variety of audiences
- The ability to develop an understanding of individual client needs and industry trends
- Strong personal values, trustworthiness, and integrity
- Solid statistical know-how
- ‘Commitment to excellence’ mindset
- Professionalism and ability to maintain discretion
- Self-motivated and self-driven
- Effective written and verbal communication skills – in English and local language(s)
