Stenographer /Lower Division Clerk job opportunities in E Courts - Bankura District

Essential Qualification : Candidates applying for the post of English Stenographer Grade III and Lower Division Clerk must have passed Madhyamik or equivalent examination from any recognised Board and must possess at least a Certificate in Computer Training from recognised Institution and a satisfactory fingering speed in computer operation. Moreover, for Stenographer Grade III, a minimum speed @ 80 w.p.m. in Shorthand and typing speed @ 30 w.p.m. is required. Candidates applying for the post of Process Server must have passed Madhyamik or equivalent examination from any recognised Board. Candidates applying for the post of Group-D must have passed Class- VIII from any recognised School or recognised Madrasa or any other recognized equivalent Institution.

About Company

As learnt from the local sources, the Court Buildings of the District Judge and of the Magistrate (the existing old Treasury Building) were built in the year 1807. The then District Judge and the District Magistrate was Mr. Willam Blunt. Mr. Brajendra Kumar Sil was the District Judge of Bankura during the period 1881 to 1888 followed by Mr. G. W .Plash in the year 1889. The Chair of the District Judge of this Judgeship were even occupied by eminent I.C.S. Officers like Mr. Annada Shankar Roy for the period 1941 to 1943. The present District Judge's Court and the District Sub-Judge's Court [(presently the Court of the Civil Judge (Senior Division)] are functioning under the same roof. The present District Judge is Kesang Doma Bhutia having joined this Judgeship on 30th January 2017
