Your Role and Responsibilities
As Field Support SSR for Storage Systems & Storage Administrator, you are responsible for providing field & on-site residence support services for High End Storage Systems, attached Storage, SAN devices for Break-Fix calls

Your Role and Responsibilities

• You will be providing field & on-site residence support services for High End Storage Systems, attached Storage, SAN devices for Break-Fix calls
• New Implementations for MA and Warranty customers including IBM Internal customers in the Region.
• You should provide support for Storage Hardware, Copy Services, Replication Technology, DR Drill support and other critical customers
• Able to work with the SMEs to drive major incidents and work towards RCA
  
  

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT Industry
• Experience IBM Enterprise Storage and Mid End Storage and Tape drives Hardware and Administration
• Proficient in HP, Brocade and Cisco SAN switches Hardware and Administration
• Experience on Service Console and HMC operation.
  Expertise in Storage /SAN Switch Code installation/Upgradation/Patch Management
  Hands on experience on Hardware Platform for Installation, Repair and Maintenance of above equipment
• Ability to Perform break-fix calls / repair actions as directed by Product engineering team.
