Job Description

Inventory & Stock Management

  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials.

  • Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts.

  • Update inventory levels in ERP/software on a real-time basis.

  • Track stock shortages, excess, and slow-moving items.

  • Ensure all materials are stored safely and systematically.

Material Handling & Documentation

  • Receive materials with proper verification of quantity and quality.

  • Prepare GRN (Goods Receipt Note), material issue slips, and store reports.

  • Coordinate with procurement for purchase order verification.

  • Maintain documentation for dispatches, returns, and material transfers.

Store Operations

  • Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and categorization of materials.

  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the store area.

  • Monitor and control material wastage.

  • Manage stock locations and ensure FIFO/FEFO practices.

Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate with production, sales, and logistics teams for material requirements.

  • Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments.

  • Communicate stock availability and lead times to relevant teams.

System & Compliance

  • Use ERP/Inventory software for stock updates and reporting.

  • Ensure compliance with store policies and safety guidelines.

  • Report discrepancies, damages, or pilferage immediately.
