Job Description
- Going through the stock and crates thoroughly.
- Reminding the manager about any important notes/remarks/complains of stock.
- Switching on the software/update the stationery on desk(bags/pen/printing rolls)
- Reading/checking any notes/instructions written on previous night counter head.
- Instructing helper to accumulate all dumps/old stock segregated at counter for return billing.
- Billing return stock as per the instructions of store manager.
- Checking the conditions of fruits and vegetables and taking action accordingly.
- Taking updates of rate change/purchase order from manager and updating in software.
- Checking for the coins or legal tenders if available and informing manager.
- Customer handling and billing .
- Answering calls of home delivery and carying out further process.
- Informing manager about stock shortage for the day .
- Counting the cash and closing the shift and handover to second assistant.
- Further instructions to helpers of sorting and seggregating the articles.
- Instructing helper to refill stock completely before peak hours.
- Maintaining stationery and store properties list.
- Handling rush hours and customer complaints attentively and politely..
- Forward cash/stock/sale/complaint reports directly to managers.
- Regular check the bags/purses of all employee staff before leaving.
- Clearing the desk and closing the store for day.
