Store Sales Executive
Job Description
POSITION OBJECTIVE
The job holder will be responsible for providing a complete shopping experience for our customers, involving customer service, product knowledge and all shopping environmental involvements.
DO — Key Responsibilities
1. Product Knowledge
• To give an accurate information about all products.
• To educate himself / herself about the culture and the journey of the Brand
2.Customer Service
• Greet all customers promptly and courteously upon entering the stores.
• Assist the customer throughout the store or specific areas.
• Satisfy the customer’s needs, requests & queries.
• Implements a high standard of customer focus.
• Increase the customer base by “best service”
• Understand the Exchange policy
• Maintain a positive & cheerful attitude and cooperate with colleagues.
• Apply all customer service standards as advised during training.
3.Cash Management In the absence of Store Custodian, the employee should get the training on cash management responsibilities.
• Make sure that there is enough change (coins and notes) at the beginning of Day
• Cash sales to be deposited regularly as scheduled and petty cash expenses to be spent as per guidelines.
• Create monetary and non-monetary reports on a periodical basis
• Any purchases/spent apart from regular ones to be done with proper approval
• Ensure payment receipt of Product sold
• Product should be Exchange with the purchased invoice.
• Daily Cash, Card sales should be tallied and recorded
4.Operations
• Report to work on time.
• Be aware of how to operate the cash tills.
• Understand how to use and utilize the reports.
• Use the correct procedures & basics in ordering, transferring of goods.
• Practice proactive in safety consciousness at all times.
• Practice security measures that help prevent theft.
• Understand the policy of the lost & found procedures.

1.2.1. Introduction
OTTO Clothing Pvt, Ltd was established in year 1996 and the founder of OTTO Clothing is Mr. Pothiraj. OTTO is the one of the largest Men’s wear brand in South India, reaching its discerning customers through an extensive network comprising of more than 800 Multi-Brand trade outlets across south region, predominately presented in Tamil Nadu with turnover of more than Rs100 crore. They own and operate one integrated state of the art production facility near Chennai, in an area spanning six acres laced with greenery and a lot of open space and is self-sufficient in all fronts. This facility has an average production capacity of 4000 garments a day.
OTTO is well known company. It is an Indian company which focuses on maintaining high standards of excellence through their product quality, brand recognition and customer service.
Since 1996, Otto has had a share in the market through MBO’s (Multi Brand Outlets) but in 2012 Otto has own exclusive outlets all over Tamil Nadu and has grown and shown standards that can compete with international brands when it comes to the pricing and quality of products to suit the people in India.

The company competes in a highly fragmented and competitive market. It has combined a variety of promotional strategies into a unique marketing mix to gain as much market share as possible. This year it has plans to get into e-commerce and to market its products online. Deals with Flipkart and other online shopping sites are in-progress. In addition to being a franchisor for some of their EBO’s, Otto Pvt, Ltd. also owns stores as a franchisee from other EBO’s such as Peter England and Indian Terrain.
