Job Description

The Infra company having 500+Cr. turnover working in Infra works like, Bridge, Roads, WTP, STP, Pipeline work, Canals, Dam, Pipeline Distribution Network etc. required Structural Design Engineer for our Pune Office with Min 10+ years experience in design of multistoried building, Bridges, Water retaining Structures and knowledge of latest design softwares.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Structural Analysis & Design:

Design and analyze RCC and steel structures for buildings, bridges, and water-retaining structures like tanks, reservoirs, and treatment plants.
Perform structural calculations for load assessments, stability, seismic and wind resistance, and structural integrity.
Ensure all designs comply with local and international codes (IS, BS, ACI, Eurocode, IRC, etc.).

2. Project Management & Technical Leadership:

Review architectural and MEP drawings to develop integrated structural solutions.
Lead structural design activities for large-scale civil engineering projects from concept to execution.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure timely delivery of design milestones.

3. Software Proficiency:

Use industry-leading software such as:
- ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, RCDC, AutoCAD, REVIT, Prokon, Tekla (for detailing).
Review and verify computer-generated outputs and ensure accurate structural modeling and detailing.

4. Documentation & Approvals:

Prepare and review design reports, technical specifications, construction drawings, and BOQs.
Support in obtaining approvals from clients, consultants, and statutory authorities.
Assist in value engineering, design optimization, and review of construction methodologies.

5. Site Coordination & Quality Assurance:

Provide technical guidance during construction and respond to site queries (RFIs).
Conduct site visits for structural audits, inspections, and design validation.
Monitor compliance with design specifications and quality standards.

6. Mentoring & Knowledge Sharing:

Guide and mentor a team of junior engineers and CAD technicians.
Provide technical training on codes, standards, and software.
Promote innovation in structural systems, sustainability, and efficient design practices.
