Job Title: Summer Internship
Applications are invited from pre-final/final year B.E/B.Tech/MSc/MTech students of Electronics, Physics, Chemical Science, Nanoscience & Tech., Material Sciences, or any other relevant stream for summer internships at Nano-Material Research Group (CNTL), Dept. of Applied Physics, ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior.
About Internship:
We are looking for candidates interested to work on following:
1.Nanofluids for their “Synthesis and Characterization using Nanofluid Interferometer”. The nature of work will be experimental which typically involves the Ultravoilet Characterization of different nanofluids and reporting their utility for specific applications. (Experimental)
2.“Nanoscale devices with state-of art nanomaterials” with the primary focus on ab-initio studies of nanomaterials to predict the vital electronic, magnetic, optical and transport properties of these materials for futuristic nanoscale devices. (Theoretical)
Typical tenure of the internship will be of 6-8 weeks likely to be start from 15 May 2017. However, the duration is subject to vary depending upon the concerned institute’s policy and quantum of work.*
Eligibility Criteria:
The candidate should have a good academic record since 12th or equivalent. In no case, candidate with 2nd division in the academic career and a CGPA less than 7.0 (or equivalent % of marks) till the current semester examination is eligible for consideration.
*The student will have to deposit Rs. 4500/- (for MHRD/Central Universities/Institutes) or Rs. 5500/- (for other Private Universities/Institutes) at the time of joining as a part of Infrastructural facility, Hostel facility, and Mess charges. However, for the local candidates only who are not interested in hostel and Mess facility will be charged Infrastructural fee @ Rs. 1000/-.
