Job Description

The job purpose of a supervisor role in a plant is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the plant during the assigned shift. This involves overseeing all aspects of production, safety, and quality control to meet organizational goals and objectives. The Supervisor is responsible for managing shift ( Day or Night). Overall, the job purpose is to ensure optimal performance and productivity during the shift while upholding safety standards and meeting production targets.

Overseeing Operations: Manage and oversee all plant activities during the shift, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to production schedules.

Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations to minimize accidents and ensure a secure working environment for all employees.

Reporting and Documentation: Prepare reports on observations noted related to production activities, equipment performance, and any incidents that occur during the shift. Prepare reports for management as required.

Communication: Serve as a point of contact between the shift team and other departments or management, conveying relevant information and addressing concerns or inquiries.

Emergency Response: Be prepared to handle emergencies or unexpected situations that may arise during the shift, implementing appropriate protocols and coordinating with relevant authorities if necessary.
