Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Classroom Instruction:

Prepare and deliver engaging, interactive, and age-appropriate lessons in accordance with curriculum guidelines.

Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet the varying needs and learning styles of students.

Use modern teaching tools, audio-visual aids, and technology (where available) to enhance classroom engagement.

Encourage student participation, critical thinking, and creativity in all subject areas.
2. Curriculum Planning:

Develop annual, term-wise, and weekly lesson plans that are in alignment with national or institutional curriculum standards.

Design class activities, assignments, projects, and assessments that support lesson objectives.

Update and revise teaching materials regularly to reflect changes in curriculum and pedagogy.
3. Student Assessment and Feedback:

Evaluate students through quizzes, tests, assignments, oral presentations, and group work.

Maintain detailed records of students’ academic progress, attendance, and performance.

Provide timely, constructive feedback to students and work with them to improve performance.

Identify students who may require additional academic support and develop intervention strategies.
4. Classroom Management:

Create a structured and positive learning environment that promotes respect, inclusivity, and discipline.

Enforce classroom rules consistently while maintaining a nurturing and supportive attitude.

Manage student behavior through effective communication and conflict resolution strategies.

Maintain order and cleanliness in the classroom, ensuring safety and hygiene standards are upheld.
5. Communication and Collaboration:

Communicate regularly with parents or guardians through meetings, phone calls, and written reports to discuss students’ progress and behavior.

Work collaboratively with other teachers, school counselors, and administrators to support students’ overall development.

Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development workshops.

Contribute to curriculum development, school events, and extracurricular activities.
6. Student Mentorship and Support:

Act as a role model and mentor for students, guiding them through academic, social, and emotional challenges.

Promote the development of essential life skills such as problem-solving, leadership, teamwork, and ethical behavior.

Identify signs of learning difficulties or behavioral issues and refer students to appropriate support services.
7. Professional Development:
