Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and knowledgeable Teacher to join our academic faculty. The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons, supporting student development, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and collaborating with other staff members to uphold the educational values and academic standards of the school.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Academic Delivery:

Prepare and deliver structured, age-appropriate, and engaging lessons in line with the curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/IB/State Board or other).

Use diverse teaching methods, instructional materials, and digital tools to meet the needs of different learners.

Conduct assessments (formative and summative) to monitor student understanding and track academic progress.

Assign homework, evaluate assignments, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
2. Classroom Management:

Create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that encourages respect, discipline, and active participation.

Establish and enforce rules of behavior and procedures to maintain order in the classroom.

Address student behavioral issues promptly and work closely with the school counselor or academic head when needed.
3. Curriculum Planning:

Contribute to lesson planning, syllabus completion schedules, and academic timelines.

Coordinate with fellow teachers for interdisciplinary and co-curricular activities.

Stay updated with changes in the syllabus, examination formats, and board guidelines.
4. Student Development:

Identify students who require extra help and provide additional support or remedial classes.

Encourage student participation in academic and co-curricular activities.

Guide students on academic choices, study habits, and personal development when required.
5. Assessment and Reporting:

Prepare question papers, grade tests/exams, and maintain accurate records of student performance.

Provide detailed progress reports to parents during Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and on-demand.

Use assessment data to adjust instructional strategies and ensure improved student outcomes.
6. Collaboration and Communication:

Attend staff meetings, academic planning sessions, training workshops, and professional development programs.

Communicate regularly and effectively with parents, guardians, and school management.

Collaborate with other teachers to plan school events, exhibitions, cultural programs, and field trips.
7. Technology Integration:

Integrate educational technology into teaching (smart boards, projectors, online platforms, etc.).

Conduct or participate in online classes if required, using platforms such as Google Classroom, MS Teams, Zoom, or school-specific LMS.

Keep up with e-learning trends and digital teaching resources.
8. Extracurricular and School Support:

Participate in school assemblies, sports day, annual functions, and other events.

Support administrative tasks such as exam supervision, school duties, and club activities.

Mentor or guide student clubs, societies, or class representatives if assigned.
