Key Responsibilities:

1. Academic Instruction

• Deliver well-structured and interactive lessons as per the prescribed syllabus and curriculum guidelines (CBSE/ICSE/State Board).

• Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments in line with academic goals.

• Use a variety of teaching methods and technology (smart boards, PPTs, videos, etc.) to ensure student engagement and understanding.

• Prepare students thoroughly for board exams, school assessments, and competitions.

2. Student Evaluation & Support

• Conduct regular tests, assignments, and examinations to assess student learning.

• Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve academic performance.

• Identify learning gaps and provide additional support/remedial classes as needed.

• Maintain accurate student records and academic progress reports.

3. Classroom Management & Discipline

• Create a positive and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning.

• Manage student behavior and address discipline issues as per school policy.

• Encourage participation, critical thinking, and inquiry-based learning.

4. Parent & School Communication

• Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and keep parents informed of student progress.

• Collaborate with fellow teachers, coordinators, and management on curriculum delivery and school events.

5. School Engagement & Development

• Participate in academic events, annual functions, workshops, and staff meetings.

• Contribute to curriculum development, question paper setting, and co-curricular planning.

• Stay updated with educational best practices and attend faculty training programs.
