Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Waffle Preparation and Cooking

Prepare waffle batter and ingredients according to standardized recipes and portion controls.

Cook waffles using waffle irons and other kitchen equipment, ensuring they are golden, fresh, and consistent in quality.

Customize orders based on customer preferences, including toppings, sauces, sides, and dietary requirements.

Monitor food temperatures and appearance to meet safety and presentation standards.
Customer Service

Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and answer any questions about the menu.

Offer friendly and professional service throughout the customer interaction.

Handle special requests, allergies, or dietary preferences with care and attentiveness.

Serve finished waffle dishes in a clean and appealing presentation.

Receive and process payments using POS systems, including handling cash, cards, and digital payments.
Cleanliness and Hygiene

Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized food preparation and service area at all times.

Wash and sanitize cooking tools, utensils, and surfaces regularly.

Dispose of food waste, recyclables, and cleaning materials properly.

Follow food safety regulations and hygiene protocols, including wearing gloves and maintaining proper handwashing.
Team Collaboration

Work closely with other team members and shift leaders to ensure smooth kitchen and front-of-house operations.

Assist with opening and closing duties as required, such as stocking ingredients, cleaning equipment, or setting up service areas.

Communicate clearly and respectfully with coworkers to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours.

Support other areas of the business as needed (e.g., drinks preparation, order packaging, or cleaning tables).
