Job Description

Tele Sales Executive Profile
Minimum 1.5 years of experience in Insurance sector
Good communication skills
Computer knowledge required
Minimum qualification - Any Graduate
Location - Kolkata
Fluency in Bengali, Hindi, and English is essential & excellent communication, interpersonal, and persuasion skills. 
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Outbound Sales Calling:

  • Call potential customers using a provided contact list or CRM system.

  • Introduce and explain company products or services to prospects in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.

  • Persuade customers to purchase products or services by highlighting benefits, offers, and value.

  • Answer customer questions about product specifications, pricing, and usage.

2. Lead Generation & Conversion:

  • Identify customer needs and suggest suitable products or solutions.

  • Qualify leads based on interest, budget, and eligibility criteria.

  • Follow up on cold and warm leads through phone, email, or SMS.

  • Close sales and achieve weekly/monthly targets as assigned.

3. CRM Management & Documentation:

  • Maintain records of calls, customer information, and sales outcomes in the CRM or Excel database.

  • Update customer status and schedule follow-up calls as needed.

  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to the sales manager.

4. Customer Engagement & Follow-up:

  • Establish a rapport with customers to ensure trust and long-term relationship building.

  • Send confirmation emails, invoices, or digital brochures post-conversation if required.

  • Remind clients of renewals, pending payments, or new offers.

  • Address basic customer complaints or route complex queries to the support team.

5. Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with the marketing and product teams for campaign updates, lead lists, and customer feedback.

  • Share insights about customer preferences and objections to help refine sales strategies.

  • Participate in sales meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions.
