Job Description
Job Summary:
A Telesales Executive is responsible for generating sales and promoting products or services over the telephone. The role involves making outbound calls to potential and existing customers, persuading them to make a purchase, or setting appointments for field sales teams. The Telesales Executive must possess strong communication and negotiation skills to close deals efficiently and handle customer objections professionally. This role is vital in driving revenue, expanding the customer base, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Outbound Calling:

Make outbound telephone calls to potential or existing customers to introduce company products or services.

Use a prepared script or pitch to explain features, benefits, and advantages of products.

Follow call lists and sales leads provided by the company or generated through other channels (e.g., marketing campaigns, website inquiries).
2. Lead Generation and Qualification:

Identify potential customers and gather relevant information about their needs and interests.

Qualify leads by asking the right questions and understanding the customer's buying potential.

Enter lead data accurately into CRM systems and track progress throughout the sales pipeline.
3. Achieving Sales Targets:

Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals and KPIs set by the manager.

Focus on conversion rates, number of successful calls, and revenue generated.

Maintain motivation and resilience to consistently achieve performance targets in a fast-paced sales environment.
4. Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective follow-ups and regular communication.

Provide accurate information and clear explanations about product pricing, specifications, delivery, and support.

Address customer queries, objections, and concerns in a confident and positive manner.
5. Database and CRM Maintenance:

Maintain detailed and accurate customer records in CRM or sales software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM).

Update contact information, call outcomes, lead status, and future follow-up reminders.

Ensure data confidentiality and compliance with data protection laws (e.g., GDPR).
6. Feedback and Reporting:

Provide daily/weekly reports on call activity, sales conversion, and customer feedback to the Telesales Manager.

Share insights about common objections, product feedback, and customer sentiment.

Contribute ideas for improving call scripts, promotional strategies, and sales techniques.
