Job Description
Position Summary
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Telesales Executive to join our insurance sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with their life, health, and disability insurance needs over phone calls. The role requires understanding customers’ financial profiles and suggesting appropriate insurance solutions to meet their long-term protection and investment goals.
This position combines relationship building, consultative selling, and telephonic sales execution to develop a consistent client base. The candidate should have excellent communication skills, confidence, and a desire to help people secure their future.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting

Compile and maintain lists of potential leads from databases, referrals, and campaigns.

Call prospective clients to introduce available insurance plans and schedule discovery discussions.

Use CRM tools to manage leads and track progress.
Customer Needs Analysis

Conduct fact-finding calls to understand each client's financial situation, existing coverage, dependents, and risk tolerance.

Identify customer goals (e.g., protection, savings, child education, retirement) and suggest suitable policies.

Clearly explain policy features, benefits, premiums, terms, and claim processes.
Product Knowledge & Sales Execution

Promote and sell life, health, and disability insurance policies based on customer needs.

Present multiple insurance options, comparing features and costs.

Handle objections effectively and close sales professionally.
Client Relationship Management

Establish long-term working relationships with clients to ensure policy renewals and referrals.

Follow up with interested or existing clients periodically to review changing needs or policy upgrades.

Provide excellent post-sale service and coordinate with support teams for documentation and onboarding.
Compliance & Documentation

Ensure all sales and advisory activities comply with IRDAI regulations and company guidelines.

Accurately record customer details, communication history, and policy data in the CRM.

Assist clients with completing proposal forms and KYC documentation.
