Job Description
Job Summary
The Telesales Executive is a vital member of the sales team responsible for generating leads, promoting products or services, and closing sales through telephone communications. This role involves proactive outreach to potential and existing customers, understanding their needs, offering suitable solutions, and achieving sales targets. A successful Telesales Executive combines excellent communication skills, persuasion, resilience, and a customer-centric approach to maximize conversion rates and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation and Customer Outreach

Conduct outbound calls to prospective clients using provided databases, leads, or cold calling strategies.

Follow up on inbound inquiries to convert interested prospects into customers.

Qualify leads by assessing customer needs, budget, authority, and timelines.

Maintain a high volume of calls daily while ensuring quality and compliance with company guidelines.
2. Product Knowledge and Promotion

Develop deep knowledge of the company’s products or services to effectively communicate benefits and features.

Customize sales pitches and presentations to align with customer needs and objections.

Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling based on customer profiles and preferences.

Stay updated on competitor offerings, market trends, and promotional campaigns.
3. Sales Process Management

Manage the entire telesales cycle from lead generation to closing, including negotiation and objection handling.

Record customer interactions, feedback, and sales data accurately in CRM or sales tracking tools.

Schedule product demonstrations or follow-up meetings for senior sales personnel when necessary.

Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
4. Customer Relationship Management

Build rapport and trust with prospects and existing customers by delivering excellent service.

Handle customer queries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.

Maintain a database of customer contacts and update records regularly.

Collaborate with marketing, operations, and customer service teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
5. Reporting and Continuous Improvement
