Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Telesales Executive to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable speaking with customers over the phone, generating leads, closing sales, and achieving targets. You will play a key role in driving revenue by promoting our products/services to potential clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Outbound Calling & Lead Generation

  • Make outbound calls to a targeted list of prospects or cold leads with the aim to introduce the company’s products or services.

  • Generate new sales leads and opportunities through proactive telephonic conversations.

  • Follow-up with interested prospects to nurture them towards closure.

2. Customer Needs Analysis

  • Understand customer requirements, preferences, and pain points by asking relevant questions.

  • Explain product features, benefits, and pricing in a clear and compelling manner.

  • Provide customized solutions based on customer needs.

3. Achieving Sales Targets

  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.

  • Convert leads into confirmed sales orders by closing deals over the phone.

  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of prospects to ensure a steady flow of business.

4. Data Management & Reporting

  • Accurately enter and update customer details, interactions, and sales status in the CRM system.

  • Maintain detailed records of calls, feedback, and follow-up schedules.

  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, progress, and challenges to the sales manager.

5. Handling Customer Queries & Objections

  • Respond promptly to incoming queries from potential customers.

  • Handle objections with patience and professionalism, using objection-handling techniques to turn negatives into positives.

  • Escalate complex customer issues to the relevant department when necessary.

6. Product Knowledge & Training

  • Continuously update knowledge of company products, services, pricing, and industry trends.

  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings to improve selling skills and product understanding.

  • Share insights and feedback with the product and marketing teams.

7. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with prospects and customers.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process to encourage repeat business and referrals.

  • Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure delivery and resolve any issues.
