Position : Regional Sales Manager
Department : Sales
Industry : Agriculture/ Dairy/ Animal Husbandry
Location : Gujarat/ Punjab/ Maharashtra/ South/ Any other state as required
Reporting to : Sales Director
Responsibilities
1. Set and achieve sales targets.
2. Develop and execute sales strategies and plans.
3. Acquire new customers.
4. Manage customer relationships.
5. Provide technical support in veterinary matters.
6. Conduct customer training and share knowledge.
Candidate Requirements
Work Experience
1. Minimum of 6 to 7 years of experience in sales within the Agriculture, Dairy, or Animal Husbandry sectors.
2. At least 2 to 3 years of leadership experience.
3. Experience managing a team of 4 to 5 members.
4. Strong network in retail/B2B with farmers, farming, and dairy associations.
5. Hands-on experience at the grassroots level.
Qualification
· Degree or diploma in Agriculture, OR
· Bachelor of Veterinary Science, OR
· A graduate with 5+ years of experience working with dairy farmers, even without a formal qualification in Agriculture, Dairy, or Animal Husbandry.
Soft Skills
· Proficiency in Hindi and/or regional languages.
· Passionate about sales and self-driven.
· Strong leadership abilities.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
· Willingness to travel in rural areas.
