Job Description
Location: Coimbatore
Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical (EEE / E&I / ECE) ITI (Preferred) - Must
Experience: Fresher/Minimum 1 year
Key Responsibilities:

Assembly Operations:
-
Assemble products, components, or subassemblies according to blueprints, technical drawings, or standard work instructions.

Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, and fixtures to assemble parts with precision.

Handle small mechanical or electronic components, fasteners, wiring, and connectors.
-
Perform soldering, wiring, fitting, or bolting depending on the product type.

Testing Procedures:
-
Conduct functional and performance tests on finished assemblies or subassemblies.
-
Use test instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, pressure gauges, or custom testing rigs.

Verify specifications such as voltage, current, resistance, pressure, or mechanical fit.

Document test results and mark items as passed or rejected based on performance.

Quality Control:

Inspect parts for defects, damage, or alignment issues before and after assembly.
-
Report non-conformances or failures to the supervisor or quality control team.
-
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality standards (e.g., ISO, IPC).

Rework or repair minor assembly defects when instructed.

Documentation and Reporting:
-
Maintain accurate production logs, testing records, and batch reports.
-
Enter data into spreadsheets or production systems when required.

Label and package completed items for inventory or shipment.

Follow traceability protocols for parts and tools used.

Tools and Equipment Maintenance:
-
Ensure that tools and test equipment are maintained in good working condition.

Calibrate or clean instruments as needed.

Report damaged tools or equipment to maintenance personnel or supervisors.

Health, Safety, and Cleanliness:

Follow all workplace safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Maintain a clean and organized workstation.

Handle materials safely, especially if working with chemicals, electrical systems, or heavy components.

Team Collaboration:

Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and fellow technicians during production runs.

Provide feedback on process improvements or recurring issues.

Participate in training or cross-functional workshops to upgrade skills.
