Tradesman/Clerk/Work Asst. Job vacancies in Tata Institute for Fundamental Research (TIFR)
Tradesman (B) (Mechanical-Fitter)/ 1 OBC
Qualification: i) S.S.C. OR Equivalent.ii) ITI i.e. National Trade Certificate (NTC) with minimum 60% marks awarded by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) in the Fitter trade with minimum two years experience after passing of trade course in the Fitter trade.OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) with minimum 60% marks awarded by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) in the Fitter trade with minimum one year experience after passing of trade course in the Fitter trade.
Essential Experience: Worked as a Fitter in Medium/Large fabrication Shop. He should have experience in Bench fitting, Sheet metal and various fabrication work. Candidate should be able to read machine drawings to determine work procedure and have fair knowledge of using precision measuring instruments.

Tradesman (B) [PLUMBING]/ 1UR
Qualification: i) S.S.C. OR Equivalent. ii) ITI i.e. National Trade Certificate (NTC) with minimum 60% marks awarded by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) in the Plumbing trade with minimum two years experience after passing of trade course in the Plumbing trade. OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) with minimum 60% marks awarded by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) in the Plumbing trade with minimum one year experience after passing of trade course in the Plumbing trade.
Essential Experience : The candidate should have experience in all kind of plumbing work including water supply, sewage and drainage line installation as well as repair work.

Tradesman(B) [ELECTRICAL]/ 1 OBC
Qualification: i) S.S.C. OR Equivalent.ii) ITI i.e. National Trade Certificate (NTC) with minimum 60% marks awarded by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) in the Electrical trade with minimum two years experience after passing of trade course in the Electrical trade. Or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) with minimum 60% marks awarded by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) in the Electrical trade with minimum one year experience after passing of trade course in the Electrical trade.
Essential Experience: Candidate should be conversant with maintenance of electrical installations, cabling of new power points, operation of electrical switchgears in the sub-station, maintenance of electrical motors etc.

Tradesman (B) [MILLWRIGHT FITTER] / 1UR
Qualification: i) S.S.C. OR Equivalent. ii) ITI i.e. National Trade Certificate (NTC) with minimum 60% marks awarded by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) in the Millwright Fitter trade with minimum two years experience after passing of trade course in the Millwright Fitter trade.OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) with minimum 60% marks awarded by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) in the Millwright Fitter trade with minimum one year experience after passing of trade course in the Millwright Fitter trade.
Essential Experience: Worked as a Maintenance Fitter in Medium/Large Machine Shop having CNC Machines, Milling Machines, Press, Hydraulic/Pneumatic Machines etc. He should have experience in Bench fitting, Sheet metal and various fabrication and machine installation work. Candidate should be able to read machine drawings to determine work procedure and have fair knowledge of using precision measuring instruments.

Clerk (A) /1 OBC
Qualification : a) Graduate with minimum 50% marks. (b) Knowledge of typing and use of personal computers and applications. (c) Candidates with better typing skills may be given preference.
Experience : Minimum one year experience as a Clerk in administrative matters and correspondence in large and reputed organizations.
Desirable : i) Candidates with Graduation in Commerce with minimum 50% marks will be preferred. (ii) Candidates having one year experience in Accounts and Audit will be preferred.

Cook (B) /1UR
Qualification :S.S.C. OR Equivalent. Experience : Minimum three years’ experience as Cook in preparation of all Indian and Continental Cuisine using modern Kitchen Equipment’s in a well-established Hotel and / or Canteen. Experience in preparation of bulk cooking in Canteens, Banquets etc. will be an added advantage.
Desirable: i) One year Certificate course in Cooking from a recognized institute/organization.

Work Asst. (COOKS MATE)/ 1UR
Qualification : S.S.C. OR Equivalent.
Experience : Minimum one year experience in Hotel/Canteen/Club in handling work like cutting, chopping, cleaning vegetables & meats, cleaning of cutlery, crockery and kitchen utensils.
Desirable : Preparation of Batter for Idly/Wada, and other snacks, Rolling and frying of Chapattis.
