Vasmed Health Sciences Pvt. Ltd. is an ISO 13485:2016 and CDSCO certified medical device manufacturer specializing in Class III invasive devices for diagnostics and therapy, particularly for cardiovascular application. Vasmed factory based in Bangalore is a 25,500 Sq. Ft. custom build facility, with ISO 5, ISO 7 category cleanrooms, ESD and R&D areas.

Our R&D consists of cross functional teams with experienced engineers with Electronics, PCB Design, Mechanical design, Firmware, Application Software, and MEMs background. We work with state of the art medical technologies including MEMs sensors and high integrity software. We are looking at experienced software personnel interested in joining our team.

The Software Engineer will develop middleware and frond-end application software for our medical devices. The candidate will be involved in all phases of software product development including design, development, verification, certification and release of Software for the medical devices. (S)he will be interacting and working with the firmware and hardware team on product realization and will be developing software compliant to IEC 62304 standards. The person will be challenged to carry out targeted development assignments, develop software components of a existing/new product according to technical specifications.

Essential Functions:

• The Software Engineer frequently interacts with cross functional team members, internal partners and stakeholders concerning , design, development and implementation of Software requirements.
• Design, Develop and test Software high integrity software for medical devices in C++ on Qt Framework
• Understanding of various software libraries and data transfer methodologies
• Understanding of Open source software and integration of libraries
• Learn and understand software standards for Medical devices, ex. IEC62304.Define and implement software requirements and designs
• Contributes and applies principles, theories, and concepts to solve complex technical problems.
• Demonstrate ownership of software feature/module and drive development of the feature/module through SDLC.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Education- Bachelors in Engineering/MCA
• Medical device experience will be added advantage
