Job Description
System Engineer – Roles and Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and enterprise applications.
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of IT infrastructure.
Perform system upgrades, patches, and regular maintenance activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control.
Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
Ensure system security, antivirus updates, and compliance with IT policies.
Support virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
Work with network teams and application teams to resolve system-related issues.
Monitor logs and system alerts using monitoring tools.
Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and users.
