Job Description
Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Web
Developer and Application Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate
will have a strong background in Python and PHP development, a minimum of 5
years of professional experience, and expertise in managing WordPress sites built
with the Divi Theme. The role also requires hands-on knowledge in maintaining and
patching applications hosted on Linux servers, AWS and Azure, and demonstrating
excellent communication and writing skills to collaborate effectively with cross-
functional teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Development: Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications
using Python and PHP. Troubleshoot and debug code to ensure smooth
functionality and scalability.
WordPress Management: Monitor, update, and maintain WordPress websites
with Divi Themes. Develop and modify custom layouts, modules, and plugins
to ensure dynamic and responsive user experiences.
Application Administration: Perform regular patching, updates, and
maintenance of applications to ensure security and reliability. Administer and
manage cloud-based applications hosted in AWS and Azure infrastructure.
Application Support: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to provide
application support for diverse systems and tools.
Security & Compliance: Ensure applications, servers, and websites adhere
to security standards and best practices. Implement and monitor patches to
safeguard systems from vulnerabilities.
Collaboration and Project Management: Work closely with design,
marketing, and IT teams to align application development projects with
company objectives. Provide clear and concise communication to both
technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Documentation: Generate comprehensive documentation for code,
infrastructure, and processes to support team knowledge sharing and
compliance.
API Development: Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs to support
web and mobile applications. Ensure APIs are secure, scalable, and well-
documented.
