About the internship

The overall purpose of this position is to provide highly effective design support to impact key stakeholders in how they present data generated from different systems visually and effectively. The designer will work closely with the management teams to create visually compelling data dashboards and design artifacts that can be taken to market for maximum impact. They will also protect the integrity of the brand's visual identity.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Deliver on design requirements as per the quality standards defined by the team
2. Design value addition in terms of graphical inputs, such as custom infographics created based on evaluating the content
3. Design value-addition in terms of providing alternate representation of data
4. Reimagine basic graphics/pie charts/bar graphs to more visually appealing creative representations

Other requirements

1. Minimum of 1-year hands-on experience in a design agency or a design team in a corporate environment

2. Knowledge of concepts of data visualization and types of charts, graphs, and information graphics for representing key insights

3. Experience of Adobe Creative Suite/creative cloud - InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe XD, etc.

4. Interest in building analytics dashboards using opensource tools by connecting to relational databases

5. Demonstrates expertise in at least 1 Adobe tool (Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) or multi-functional expertise in line with a team goal of fungibility of resources when needed
