In an Interaction Designer role, you’ll take on complex tasks and transform them into intuitive, accessible and easy-to-use designs for our customers. Achieving this goal requires collaboration with teams of Designers, Researchers, Engineers and Product Managers throughout the design process—from creating user flows and wireframes to building user interface mockups and prototypes. At each stage, you will anticipate what our users need and ensure that the final product works well and delights them.

Roles And Responsibilities

As a Lead Interaction Designer you will be responsible for the following:

• Get insights from customers that can translate to a value proposition. 
  
• Lead projects from start to finish and manage issues that impact design. 
  
• Deliver detailed design flows and specifications, ensure product excellence throughout product development and implementation process. 
  
• Define design direction in close collaboration with Designers, Researchers and Writers to define approach, tone, personality, ease of use, end-to-end flows. 
  
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams to define user needs, opportunities and product requirements.
  
• Provides hands-on mentoring and leadership to Interaction Designers, Visual Designers and User Researchers about the design process, methods, and tools that are best suited for that project and client/stakeholder.
  
• Ensures design team is delivering world-class deliverables and outcomes to the internal and external stakeholders.
  

Experience & Skills

Around 6 – 8 years of work experience designing digital solutions in the field of Consumer Electronics or Industrial Sectors (B2B)

• Must have a strong background in Interaction / User Experience Design or any other professional design background. Should continue to be hands-on as an Interaction Designer.
  
• Has a demonstrable portfolio of work that reflects the breadth & depth of skills as an Interaction Designer and Design Lead.
  
• Experience working with Tools like Figma, Sketch, Invision. Adobe Suite etc
  
• Good communication and Presentation skills
  
• Excellent collaboration skills
  
• Excellent problem solving and multi-tasking skills
  

Qualifications

Bachelor's/ Master’s degree in Interaction Design or an equivalent design field.
