Job Description

Applications are invited for UNIVERSITY RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP (URF) from those who are interested to register Ph.D. (Bioinformatics) in the Department of Bioinformatics.

Qualification: Candidates who have already qualified for Pre Ph.D. Entrance Examination in Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Life sciences/ Biomedical sciences/Any Science subjects conducted by Bharathidasan University .

M. Phil. candidates in the above subjects are exempted from Pre-Ph.D. qualification test.

Fellowship: Rs. 5, 000/- per month until the course completion.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Interview and then selected candidates will be allowed for Ph.D. registration in Bioinformatics in the Department of Bioinformatics.

Registration fee: Candidates possessing the requisite qualifications should enclose a registration fee of Rs. 300/- (Rs. 100/- for SC/ST candidates) in the form of Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favor of “Bharathidasan University” payable at Tiruchirappalli.
