Designation - Assistant Labour Commissioner

ESSENTIAL EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
- Degree in Law or Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in
Social Work/Labour Welfare Laws/Industrial Relations/Personnel Management of a
recognized University/Institution or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
- Three years’
experience in a responsible capacity in handling/dealing with Labour Problems in a
Government Establishment or Industry or Trade Union Organization.
- Knowledge of Hindi and/or Urdu.
NOTE: The Qualifications are relaxable at the
discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in
the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
DUTIES:
- To promote harmonious industrial relation and labour management co-ordination to prevent disputes.
- Ensure statutory obligations regarding condition of Employment and Service.
- Promotion measures for increase in production and efficiency in establishment and redress grievances of Industrial and Non-Industrial Workers.
Age Limit:
- 35 years
Selection Process:
- The Selection Process will be based on the Document verification/ Interview.
Pay Scale:
- Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
