1. Post Name: Assistant Mineral Economist (Intelligence), Indian Bureau of Mines, Ministry of Mines
2. No of Post: 14
3. Qualification: Master’s Degree in Applied Geology or Geology or Economics or Bachelors Degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
4. Duties:
a. Collection, compilation, tabulation and processing of data for preparation of various publications like Indian Minerals Year Book, Bulletin on Mineral Information, Market Survey, Preparation of notes and comments for replying to references received from the Government and the public on matters related to Mines, Minerals and Metals.
b. Preparation and periodical updation of National Mineral Inventory. Preparation for directory of mining leases. Preparation of reports on royalty, taxation, legal framework etc. and such other duties as may be assigned to them by the Controller General, IBM or any other officer authorized by them.
5. Pay Scale: Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
6. Experience:
Three years’ experience in the field of mineral economics, namely conducting demand supply studies, market survey of minerals, mineral inventory, mineral legislation, world mineral intelligence, investigation of economic aspect of mineral resources and production and consumption or utilization of minerals, analysis and dissemination of information
7. HQ: Nagpur (Maharashtra) with service liability anywhere in India.
Age Limit:
30 - 48 years
Application Fees:
Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five), No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community.
