Qualification:  (i) Post graduate degree in Chemistry with specialization in Physical Chemistry from a recognized University or equivalent*. (ii) Three years’ research/ practical/ teaching experience at degree level in Physical Chemistry OR Doctorate in Physical Chemistry from a recognized University or equivalent*. NOTE: Equivalent* : *No equivalent qualifications are suggested. DESIRABLE: (i) Experience in Sugar Factory/ Distillery/ industrial units. (ii) Experience of guiding research work. DUTIES: (i) Teaching, research and rendering technical advice to sugar and allied industries.(ii) Any other work assigned by the Senior Officers/ Director. Qualification: (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 ( 102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section(3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956). ii) Post- Graduate degree in the concerned speciality or Super-speciality i.e. Magister Chirurguie (Gastro-Intestinal Surgery); or Master of Surgery (General Surgery) with two years special training in a Department of Gastro Intestinal Surgery*. NOTE : *Teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Registrar or Demonstrator in Department of Gastro Intestinal Surgery after MS (General Surgery) shall be considered as special training in Gastro Intestinal Surgery. Therefore, the candidates having MS (General Surgery) only must have minimum two years experience in the Department of Gastro Intestinal Surgery and remaining one year in the Department of Surgery to become eligible for the post.

Experience: At least three years’ Teaching experience as Sr. Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar in the concerned Speciality or Super-speciality in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first post graduate degree.
