Job Description
Having 2-3 years Experience in Goods Transport vehicle driver with Badge Number. Driving LMV LICENCE WITH BADGE NUMBER MANDATORY
Key Responsibilities:
1. Goods Transportation:
-
Drive assigned light motor vehicles (LMV) such as pickup vans, Tata Ace, Bolero, Eicher mini trucks, or similar for transporting goods and materials.

Ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods to the correct destination based on the daily schedule.

Follow the route plan provided and report delays or deviations promptly to the dispatch coordinator.
2. Safety and Compliance:
-
Follow all traffic rules and road safety regulations without compromise.

Maintain valid LMV driver’s licence with a badge number and carry it at all times while on duty.

Wear uniform and badge (if mandated by the company) and drive with caution, especially in congested or high-traffic areas.

Conduct daily vehicle safety checks (lights, brakes, horn, tyre pressure, fuel, etc.) before starting trips.

Ensure safe loading and unloading of goods to avoid damage or injuries.
3. Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain and submit trip sheets, delivery notes, challans, or e-way bills as instructed.

Get necessary signatures or stamps from recipients as proof of delivery.

Report vehicle mileage, fuel usage, toll receipts, and any delays or issues during the trip.

Inform the transport office about traffic violations, fines, accidents, or mechanical problems immediately.
4. Vehicle Care and Maintenance:

Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition at all times.

Notify the supervisor in case of maintenance needs, oil change, brake issues, or tire wear.

Assist the service team in regular maintenance schedules or emergency repairs.
5. Customer and Team Coordination:
-
Coordinate professionally with warehouse staff, loaders, supervisors, and customers.

Communicate clearly with clients at the delivery location if directions or assistance is required.

Be courteous and represent the company in a respectful and responsible manner.
