Vendor Coordinator Job in For a Client of TeamLease Digital at Ahmednagar, Aurangabad, Jalgaon

1. Objective

The purpose of this engagement is to deploy skilled procurement manpower to support sourcing and supplier coordination activities for sheet metal, fabrication, and powder coating components. The deployed resource shall function as a Vendor coordinator at supplier site and ensure timely availability of materials in line with the production plan.

2. Scope of Services

The service provider shall deploy qualified and experienced personnel to perform the following activities:

Vendor coordinator Activities

• Manage procurement activities for sheet metal, fabrication, machining, and powder coating parts.

• Review material requirements and communicate purchase requirements to suppliers.

• Monitor purchase orders as per company procedures.

• Maintain procurement records and supplier-related documentation.

Supplier Coordination & Follow-up

• Coordinate closely with suppliers for parts availability.

• Conduct regular follow-ups with suppliers to ensure adherence to committed delivery schedules.

• Track material dispatch from supplier and follow up until material receipt at Rieter wing.

• Escalate delays, capacity constraints, quality concerns, or supply risks to the designated company representative.

• Work proactively with suppliers to expedite critical materials whenever required.

Production Plan Alignment

• Review production requirements and ensure procurement activities are aligned with the production schedule.

• Monitor material shortages and communicate potential risks well in advance.

• Prioritize procurement actions based on production urgency and business requirements.

• Ensure timely availability of components to support uninterrupted production operations.

Reporting & Communication

• Provide periodic status reports on open orders, supplier commitments, delays, and critical issues.

• Maintain supplier delivery trackers and procurement follow-up records.

• Participate in review meetings with company stakeholders and suppliers as required.

3. Resource Qualifications

The deployed resources should:

• Have experience in procurement/purchasing activities within manufacturing industries.

• Possess good knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, powder coating, and related manufacturing processes.

• Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, and procurement documentation.

• Diploma mechanical engineer/B.E with 2-3 years of experience.

4. Service Provider Responsibilities

• Deploy qualified and trained manpower as per agreed requirements.

• Ensure continuity of service and provide replacement resources in case of absence or attrition.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and confidentiality obligations.

• Monitor resource performance and provide necessary training and support.

This SOW ensures that the deployed Vendor coordinator resource actively manages procurement and supplier follow-up activities, driving on-time availability of sheet metal, fabrication, and powder-coated parts to meet production requirements.
