Veterinary Officer, Rhino Conservation (NBL&KKL) Job opportunity in WWF-India
Qualifications, Experience and competencies required: M.V.Sc. from a reputed University in India or abroad. Demonstrated leadership skills. Knowledge of wildlife health and disease prevention, with specialization in rhinoceros health. The person should also be experienced to set up a storage and basic test facility within the WWF India field office and also train a team of assistance.
Desired Skills and Abilities: Good writing and
communication, written and oral; in both English and Assamese. The candidate
must be able to interact and communicate effectively with officials of the
Forest Department and other line agencies of the government, and members of the
civil society. High level of interpersonal skills required, especially
relationship management and consensus building skills and the ability to work
as member of a high-level international team.
Location: The location could be Tezpur or Guwahati in Assam.
