Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Manipulating and editing film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
2. Working on inputting sound to enhance footage, which may include selecting music and writing voice-overs
3. Working on inputting graphics to enhance footage
3. Working on digitally splicing film and video and synchronizing them into one rough cut file
4. Improving and correcting lighting, coloring, and faulty footage
5. Working closely with directors to present a final product that matches his or her vision
6. Trimming footage segments and putting together the sequence of the film
7. Ensuring logical sequencing and smooth running
8. Consulting with stakeholders from production to post-production process
