Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate VMC machines as per job requirements and technical drawings.

Load and unload raw materials and finished parts from the machine.

Read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and job orders.

Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and machine parameters for each job.

Measure workpieces using precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and other quality tools.

Make machine offset adjustments to ensure parts meet dimensional tolerances and surface finish requirements.

Conduct first-piece inspection and in-process checks to ensure conformity to specifications.

Monitor the machining process and troubleshoot issues such as tool wear, dimensional variation, or surface defects.

Perform basic CNC programming edits or modifications at the machine control panel (if authorized).

Maintain daily production logs and quality control documentation.
-
Report discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, or material issues to supervisors promptly.

Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company quality standards and safety procedures.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the machine area and tools.

Follow preventive maintenance schedules and assist in routine machine maintenance.
