Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a professional, polite, and efficient Waiter to join our restaurant or hospitality service team. The Waiter will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain a positive attitude, and handle multiple tasks effectively.
This role requires strong communication skills, a good memory for menu items, attention to cleanliness, and the ability to coordinate well with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
(1) Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant floor, cutlery, crockery, glassware, and service equipment.
(2) Assist servers in setting up tables, refilling water, and clearing used dishes.
(3) Maintain cleanliness of back-of-house areas and ensure all utensils are sanitized properly.
(4) Support smooth operations during peak hours by assisting the service and kitchen teams.
(5) Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to hygiene, safety, and food handling.
(6) Report any breakage, maintenance, or safety concerns immediately to the supervisor.
(7) Uphold the brand values of Burma Burma in every interaction with guests and teammates.
