We are hiring XML/ePub Developers for Thanjavur Unit.
Required Skill set
XML, HTML, ePub standards. Candidate should have knowledge in ePub and XML Process.
- 2+ years of experience in ePub2, ePub3, Fixed Layout, Interactive ePub, Enhanced ePub, Mobi, KF8, XML/HTML Conversion, HTML5
- Should have Strong experience in Epsilon, HTML, CSS coding
- Converting PDF/Indesign Document into Word/XML Reflowable & Fixed layout Epub & Mobi format
- Strong Knowledge in Image and Text extraction software
- Understanding the DTD/Schema.
- Ability to perform HTML/XML Coding Tagging
- Working knowledge in conversion tools.
- Familiarity with style sheet creation.
- Creation of XQUERY, XSLT, XML FO script according to mapping document.
- Validation of generated output against the NLM DTD and Schema
- XML architecture , OTP/OTC

Responsibilities and Duties
eBook conversion, Should be involved in Live Production as well as team management, Meeting the Clients schedules, R&D for process improvement/automation.
